Firstly, there's a huge difference between good and bad mpreg. Just saying that up front.  I think a fairly exhaustive list of characteristics of a good mpreg are listed here (http://ppc.wikia.com/wiki/MPreg#Good_Mpreg:_Possible.3F), but really it's the same sort of rules as any other fanfiction, and there's no reason that, as a genre, it deserves more hate than any other.  There's just as many (if not more, really, because it's a broader genre) shitty slashers out there, because many of them are immature 13-year-olds who don't know how real relationships work, or generally bad writers who can't keep characterization or stick to a rational pl
